Parking System

Problem

In a lot of cities there is a problem finding a parking place. We can spend 20 minutes searching a spot.

Solution

The system provides a solution for finding an empty parking place.

The user enters a mobile application. Sends the destination address.

The system looks for an empty parking place in the area next to the destination.

The system sends a list of 3-4 addresses where there are empty places.

The user selects one, and then he gets the route to the place.

If during the movement to the destination, there is no empty place at the destination, the system notifies the user.

After the client parks the car, he starts paying for the parking. He might authorize the payment by sending a sms, from the mobile application, or by paying to a street device. This way the system is notified that the place is taken.

When he leaves the place, he stops the payment by the same method, so the system knows that there is a new empty parking place.

The system has a database with addresses and number of parking places.

Art Loi 4 – 2 places

Art Loi 5 – 3 places.

This way the client might see if there is an illegal parked car. In this case he sends a notification to the system. A human operator is notified, and he has to call the client to get more details ( plate, to check that the client is at the right address ).

Strengths

Eliminates the time spent to find a parking place

It can be implemented anywhere

Weakness

Requires a big investment to find how many parking places are for an address

Not easy to promote the idea to a big number of clients

Opportunities

More and more people have GPS and internet on their mobile

The parking is an increasing issue in all the cities.

Threats

There might already exist a patented solution

Variant II

The parking system has no parking place; it makes the link between someone who is looking for a parking place (Demander), and someone who frees one (Supplier).

The Supplier is about to leave the parking place, he specifies that around 10minutes will free a place at an address.

Demander opens the mobile application and sends the destination and the time he will arrive there. The system looks for free places in the area. It sends back a list of addresses. The Demander chooses one. The Supplier is asked about the time. If he confirms, each of them receives the car data of the other ( car type, place, color) and on the application all the time is displayed the distance between the cars. When the Demander arrives, he is billed and they exchange the places.

Variant III

The client enters a time and an address in the application. There are parking boys who enter their location. The system finds a free parking boy, sends the address to the client. The client leaves the keys and the car to the boy, who will park the car.

When the client want to get back his car, sends a request with the time he wants the car ( minimum 10 minutes), and a parking boy will return the car.
