Control means the power to change a situation

A story is a set of changes of situation. The main character does most of them. We identify ourselves with him because we want to change the situation.

1 month baby is the master of the world, everything he wants, he gets, his only issue is to make him understood by his parents

at 2 years, the baby suffers the NO revolution, from master he becomes slave, he cannot be 5 meters away the parent, he must not cry. Breaking the toys is a way of control. By growing up the kid gets more and more freedom against the parents, freedom is synonym with removing control of someone else over us.

Teenager is in an open fight for removing the last control of the parent.

Young is the perfect age because there is minimum control and responsibility

Old is the time of loosing control over others and own body.

Your Freedom means that someone / something has not the power to change your situation. Less controls over you, more free you are. Looks that Freedom is a passive, negative property, it is defined by a negation.
